Parent communication is very important to us. We have a digital parent communication app, where parents can sign their kids in and out, get updates on upcoming events, receive pictures and videos of their child, and also message with the Director and the Teacher in order to stay current on child’s day and learning progress. Parents are welcome to communicate with staff to get the most current updates on their child’s progress of the day, but even if they choose not to, because of their busy lives, our staff will send little friendly reminders with pictures, videos, and other daily updates. We also frequently send newsletters with what is happening in our schools and the world of early childhood education and development. Of course we still embrace the “traditional” method of communication, face-to-face, by appointment, or at pick up and drop off.

Childcare is often not a luxury, but a necessity for many families. And we, at NurtureSchool understand that sometimes it can be expensive. Therefore we welcome and accept children from families that receive various forms of assistance from the State, such as Traditional DHS Vouchers and Foster Care Vouchers. We help families with access to applications in hopes approval of State subsidies for childcare costs, and often they get a chance of attending our school absolutely free of charge. Of course those families are held to the same high standards that everyone else at NurtureSchool have come to expect, with a little added bonus of lessening the financial burden on their family.
NurtureSchool Waiting List Application
Once you have completed the waiting list application, we will place your child on the appropriate classroom waiting list. After completion of the waiting list application, you can schedule a tour at your convenience to view our facility and review policies. If you wish to wait on the tour, you will be contacted by phone upon an available space and given the opportunity to accept enrollment.
Waiting List Policy -When calling, If we do not hear back from you within one business day to accept or decline an available enrollment spot, the spot will be offered to the next child on that list. As your child grows, his/her name will be moved to the appropriate waiting list of the next classroom and placed on the list by date of application. If you are not in need of child care at the time you receive the call, you can remain on the waiting list.
For Drop In / Parent Day Out, a tour is not necessary ahead of time. You may book your child’s spot, arrive with your child & we will assist you further!
Scheduling a tour is easy! We believe this is the best way to determine if Nurture School is the best fit for your family. We want you to get a first hand experience of our normal operations, as we do expect visitors at any moment. You will have the opportunity to meet with a Director and teachers, view multiple classrooms,, view the playgrounds and other important areas of our center. A Parent Handbook will be reviewed so that you can have the opportunity to discuss the information with those that are important to you when making the decision of the best child care center for your family. We have the hope that Nurture School is your first choice for child care while also understanding that each family has it's own specific and individualized needs.
